The Order Of Apollyon est né en 2008, sous l'impulsion de deux membres d'Aborted, Daniel Wilding et BST. Ils seront rejoints dans l'aventure par James McIlroy, de Cradle Of Filth et par le bassiste Peter Benjamin (Akercocke). Le premier album du groupe est publié sur le label Listenable records en avril 2010.
