Le groupe est formé en 1990, et enregistre une première démo, Temple of the Lost Race, en 1991. La formation en change pas jusqu'en 1997, année durant laquelle le groupe recrute Nathalie Rassoulis au chant sur l'album Ophidian Wheel. Le groupe se sépare en 2003, et les membres participent alors à différents projets : Chaostar pour Christos Antoniou, ainsi que Firewind et Nightfall pour Bob Katsionis.
