Formé à Cleveland en 1974, RFTT n'a au départ existé qu'une année. Rocket est une association volatile d'individus incompatibles aussi talentueux que David Thomas de Pere Ubu, Cheetah Chrome des Dead Boys et Richard Lloyd de Television.... Le groupe vient de sortir en 2011 son dernier album, Barfly.
