Ramon Alarcon, ce songwriter de Philadelphie, évolue sous le nom de Ramona Cordova en hommage à sa grand-mère. Guitare, Glockenspiel, basse, et les instruments qui lui tomberont sous la main pour illustrer ses histoires, contes racontés avec une voix à l'aise dans l'aigu et un vibrato volontaire pour rentrer dans le cercle. Son premier album the boy who floated freely, sorti en 2005, paraît le 28 mai chez Clapping Music.
