Après une adolescence country entre Palace Brothers et une guitare à 3 cordes (4 à Noël), il préfère s'improviser des concerts lo-fi selon l'humeur. Norman Bambi joue moins bien de la guitare que Daniel Johnston, mais il chante en anglais aussi. Et il fait des effets de guitare avec son ordinateur.
