Le producteur equatorien Nicola Cruz lance son premier album "Prender el Alma" le 30 Octobre 2015. Du neuf, donc, après ses collaborations avec Nicolas Jaar, sur le label Clown & Sunset. Cet album fait partie d'un nouveau courant musical Latino américain que Nicola appelle "Andes Step". Influencé par la nouvelle technologie digitale et les racines folkloriques, mêlé à l'héritage local, Nicola construit ses chansons couche par couche, instrument par instrument, tambour par tambour, explorant les cosmologies locales, indigènes et afro dans une perspective moderne.
