Le rappeur d'origine caraïbéenne, K-OS a sorti son deuxième album « Joyful Rebellion » (Virgin) début avril 2004, repoussant les limites du genre à l'instar d'Andre 3000. Remarqué pour ses collaborations avec Chemical Brothers, The Roots ou De la Soul, il pratique un hip hop aux influences variées (jazz, pop, reggae, etc...). En live, il est le plus souvent accompagné d'un groupe complet (basse, batterie, clavier, guitare, batterie, churs...).
