Côté ciné, il a en outre tourné avec Steve Buscemi, notamment dans Animal Factory et dans le dernier Rambo. Côté musique, il se distingue par une voix d'une intensité peu commune : un tout grand chanteur dans la lignée des Tom Waits ou Willy DeVille. Au menu : du roots rock teinté de blues et de folk et un grand guitariste qui rencontre un grand chanteur. Jack La Botz signe cette année son huitième album, "Sunnyside".
