"Originaire de New York aux Etats Unis, Girl est a commencé à chanter à l'âge de 3 ans, a fait son premier concert solo au Carnegie Hall dans le cadre d'un programme pour enfants à 5 ans et a enregistré son premier single à 12 ans. Installé à Londres où elle a réalisé son premier album solo (Polydor Records) en collaboration avec la pop star Eric Burdon, Paul Buckmaster et John Barnham (arrangeur d'Elton John), Girl a travaillé avec le road manager des Beatles en posant son immense voix blusey/gospel sur la chanson « That's the Way God Planned It » aux côtés de George Harrison et Eric Clapton..."
