La Turquie connaît, sur le plan politique, pas mal de soubresauts. Mais cela concerne aussi la production musicale. Gaye Su Akyol, jolie brune à la frange acérée, ne se prive pas, dans ses paroles, d'une percutante protestation. La jeune femme, fascinée par Nick Cave et Einstürzende Neubauten, malaxe cet apport occidental avec la musique de son propre pays - on y entend notamment l'influence de la chanteuse Selda Bağcan.
