Formé début 2003, Elmo est en partie constitué de musiciens niçois : Sébastien Chaumont, Mikaël Micallef et Kevin Tardevet se côtoient et jouent régulièrement ensemble depuis des années. L'arrivée du mâconnais Laurent Sarrien dans la formation donnera naissance au groupe Elmo.
