"Ekaterina Mechetina étudie au sein du prestigieux conservatoire de Moscou. Entre 2002 et 2004, elle enchaîne les concours et obtient ainsi trois Premiers Prix dont ceux de Vercelli, pinerolo et Cincinnati. Son talent est salué et accompagnée par des maîtres comme Spivakiv, et Rostropovitch qui lui accorde une bourse de sa fondation pour étudier en France. Elle se produit en Russie "où elle a reçu le prestyigieux Youth Prize "Triumph"), et à Berlin, Amsterdam,Milan, au Brésil ou aux Etats Unis."
