Deux ans après Bottomless Pit, Death Grips annonce la sortie pour le printemps 2018 d'un nouvel album, Year Of The Snitch, prétexte à une tournée européenne en septembre 2018. "Si Anti Pop Consortium rencontrait Jane's Addiction dans le triangle de "Dark Side of The Moon", on aurait peut être quelque chose ressemblant à Death Grips. Comme sa mixtape "Exmilitary" (2011) en témoigne, le homeboy de Sacramento ne fait pas dans la demi-mesure.
