En 2008, Buurman est sorti de l'ombre avec son premier album :‘ROCKY komt altijd terug'. Cet album considéré comme vainqueur de la musique Pop néerlandophone fut reçu très positivement par la presse. Plus tard, Buurman va encore plus loin en sortant son nouvel album "MOUNT everest".
