Blood Red Shoes réunit Laura-Mary Carter, qui aurait aimé être espagnole, et Steven Ansell qui aurait aimé être français, sauf qu'ils vivent tous les deux à Brighton sur la côte sud de l'Angleterre. Ce duo guitare-batterie, masculin-féminin n'est pas sans rappeler la formation des White Stripes (inversée !). Et en concert, ça gratte et ça tape fort, très fort.
